In the words of the infamous Jon Snow, ‘Winter is Coming’, and although there may be no White Walkers of anything of that kind to prepare for, the winter freeze and darkness is inescapable. As Autumn draws to a close and we slowly begin to step into Winter, it’s fair to say Winter escapes become evermore attractable by the day.

One of the many great things about our wonderful planet is reversed climates and seasons. The seasons in the Northern Hemisphere, i.e. the United Kingdom, are the opposite of those in the Southern Hemisphere, which essentially means it is always hot or hotter somewhere else. So if you are thinking about escaping the winter freeze, here’s a complete list of the warmest places to visit in November.

Dominated by the dramatic Mount Teide, the highest mountain in Spain. Tenerife is an astounding destination for nature lovers and keen surfers.
