The Plitvice Lakes National Park is a 295-sq.-km forest reserve in central Croatia. It’s known for its terraced lakes and beautiful waterfalls that extend into a limestone canyon.

9. Lake Bled, Slovenia

A lake in the Julian Alps of the Upper Carniolan region of northwestern Slovenia, where it adjoins the town of Bled. Lake Bled is a popular destination that appeals to all, and it is particularly popular amongst those that love hiking and watersports.

10. Cinque Terre, Italy

A renowned destination located on the rugged Italian Riviera, Cinque Terre compromises of five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore.

An Incan citadel set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru, Machu Picchu is an ancient city. Constructed in the 15th century and cherished by travellers across the globe, Machu Picchu is not only incredibly famous but also incredibly beautiful.

12. Chocolate Hills, Philippines

One of the most unique and mystical beauties in the world, the Chocolate Hills are a geological formation in the Bohol province of the Philippines. There are at least 1,260 Chocolate Hills, but there may be as many as 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres.
