Moxy Hotel is the ultimate definition of affordable luxury. I mean, after my recent experience at an unaffordable, unluxurious, and, to top it off, supposedly four-star hotel. I really did not expect much from Moxy Hotel. But let it be known, I was blown away. Expectations were met and exceeded!
The service I received from check-in to check-out was exemplary. The attention to detail was phenomenal and the entire premise of the hotel, including my room, had a high-end, clean and sophisticated finish.

Affordable luxury is what we all desire, right? And although ‘luxury’ means different things to different people. Moxy Hotel offers that slice of luxury we all crave but usually can not afford. On arrival, check-in was quick and easy, and I was offered a complimentary welcome beverage, and you don’t get that at Travelodge!

There is nothing wrong with Travelodge, but with price tags in line with a stay at Travelodge, the comparison seemed fitting. Offering an inexpensive alternative, Moxy Hotel is my new go-to spot! A happy customer is a returning customer. In fact, I already have my next stay at Moxy Hotel pencilled into my calendar!
As I am sure you have already gathered, I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Moxy Hotel. And now it’s time to stop singing praises and throwing shade (sorry, Inntel Hotel and Travelodge, it’s nothing personal) and finally get into the nitty-gritty of my stay.
Three Star Hotel in London
For my stay, I stayed in the ‘Queen Room’. The room was beautifully presented, with floor to ceiling drapes, glass top shelves, leather chairs, producing a modern and stylish finish. What is more, I slept blissfully. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, with fluffy pillows and a thick, bouncy duvet with the right fill and tog for a winters night.
The room offered a large built-in flatscreen TV. The fact that I didn’t have to crook my neck to watch television did not go unnoticed. As I am sure you will agree, it is really the small details that matter the most!
Although the bathroom was compact, this did not impinge on its finish. Instead, all space was thoughtfully considered and carefully utilised. Though, what I loved most about the bathroom was the shower. The shower unit was spacious, and the showers water pressure was powerful.
